PERLÉ offers ‘Salsa Thursdays’ every week and they deliver on all fronts. The night begins at 9PM with an hour-long, and very insightful, Salsa lesson. The real party begins at 10PM – in the main room, live Salsa bands play most weeks and DJ Dany J keeps the crowd dancing with Salsa, Merengue and Bachata all night. The huge dance floor is packed with dancers ranging from superstar to beginner. The lounge is quite trendy and includes every age group imaginable. The side room consists of Latin club music like Reggaeton and Latin fusion which attracts a slightly younger crowd. PERLÉ provides the best of both worlds to enjoy Salsa for every demographic.

Description:
The goal of this course is to give you the confidence to dance comfortably at the nightclub or at Salsa socials. Participants will learn all the necessary steps required to advance to the Level 2.

This course will teach you the fundamentals of Salsa, and give you a solid understanding of musicality and dance theory as it pertains to Salsa on2. You will learn how to listen to the timing of Salsa and dance properly on the beat of the music. We will demystify the elusive percussion rhythms of Latin musical instruments, like the conga and the clave.

Wednesdays at 8:30pm-10:00pm
Starts, Monday, January 9 – Meets for 8 weeks once a week.
