The 2006 Big Chill 5K Run/Walk will be held on Saturday, December 9. The Big Chill is an unique charity event for kids in New Brunswick. There is neither a registration fee nor a requirement to raise funds. Instead participants are asked to bring a new, unwrapped toy for a child between the ages of 3 and 14.

Please access the website below and register. Please register under the team “Scarlet Mambo” (team #169). There are prizes for the biggest team that crosses the finish line, as well as for the first place in each age group

I know some of you like to run, so this is an excellent opportunity to do something special outside of class. It’s a rain, snow or shine event – so get those sneakers out Road Warriors!! Veronica and I are already committed, so if you would like please get your family and friends involved. Let’s make a few kids happy this Holiday season.
